JWTBM decals is back!!!

Back in 1999 Slixx was the dominant player when it came to NASCAR decals, there were a few others in the game including Wetworks at that time. Slixx was not able to do any of the Beer or Tobacco schemes that ran at the time. Knowing Dale Jr was going to start racing sponsored by Budweiser I wanted to do that sheet. I had a friend Chris Etzel of Etzel’s Speed Shop do the artwork for me and we had them printed by a company in England. This continued for our first several sheets which included 1999 and 2000 Budweiser, 2000 Budweiser Olympic, 1999 Miller Harley, 1999 Miller True to Texas, 1999 Hot Wheels, Charity Ride and 50th Anniversary. Following these my good friend Ed Sexton of Revell Monogram made an introduction for me with Cartograf. We were the first NASCAR decals printed by Cartograf and helped PowerSlide and Ace get in with them. I did sheets until 2010 or 11 when it had become difficult to find and keep a graphic artist with the talent to do this type of work. In the 11 or so years we produced over 160 different sheets including a couple of street car sheets. Several Facebook group members have pictures of every sheet I did, unfortunately mine were lost during my divorce. Through the prodding of several builders I’ve decided to get back in the game with the help of a few fellow builders and on January 1st 2024 I announced JWTBM was back.  I’ve always strived to provide the best quality, most accurate graphics. If we wanted something that looked like the car, we would collect diecast! 

My hope is to continue this tradition of excellence as we did before and work with others in the hobby. I already plan to work with Jay's Stock Cars, Jaye’s Model Garage and Henrik Ludwig who can provide bodies and hoods needed for some of the projects we have planned. Just like everyone who is in the cottage industry, I’m not rich and need things to sell to be able to fund future projects.
