Because my hoods are 3D printed and very thin, they can sometimes flatten slightly during shipping or storage. If your hood does not conform properly to the shape of the body, do not force it into place or glue it down flat.

To reshape the hood:

• Place it in warm water for a short time until it becomes slightly flexible.
• Or hold it in front of a space heater or use a hair dryer for approximately 30–40 seconds, just long enough to soften the part slightly.

Once warm, gently bend the hood back to match the contour of the body and hold it in position while it cools.

Do not overheat the part or place it too close to the heat source, as excessive heat can warp or damage it.

This is normal with very thin 3D printed parts and does not mean the hood is defective.

If something arrives damaged or an item is missing from your order, please contact me and include your order number.

If the part is damaged, please also include a clear photo of the affected part so I can see what happened and get it taken care of.

Before painting, make sure the part is clean, dry, and free of any remaining dust or residue.

Minor support marks or surface imperfections can usually be cleaned up with light sanding before primer.

I recommend using a good quality primer before applying your final paint.
