Hood Fitment Information
Because our hoods are 3D printed and very thin, they can sometimes flatten slightly during shipping or storage. If your hood does not conform properly to the shape of the body, do not force it into place or glue it down flat.
To reshape the hood, gently warm it using one of the following methods:
- Place it in warm water for a short time until it becomes slightly flexible.
- Hold it in front of a space heater or use a hair dryer for approximately 30ā40 seconds, just long enough to soften the part slightly.
Once warm, gently bend the hood back to match the contour of the body and hold it in position while it cools.
Do not overheat the part or place it too close to the heat source, as excessive heat can warp or damage it.
This is normal with very thin 3D printed parts and does not mean the hood is defective.

Next Gen Rocker Panel detail set includes a new exhaust end and flange for the body and the cooling vents. Set does both sides. You will need to cut out the existing exhaust ports that are molded in the body and file the opening until the flange fits snug and cut out the existing vents. You will also need to cut out or sand down the nub that i have circled in black in the picture above on the undertray. I did this in about 5 minutes using a Dremel with a cut off wheel disc and then filed it square with a diamond file. You'll want to file up to where the rocker line sticks out from the body so that the line from the rocker is gone.
